Audio moblog 2
Correction : In this post, from my home phone, I stated my Telstra Plan was the Homeline Complete. In fact I just changed it to Homeline Plus at an extra $3 per month. This allows me to call Audioblog in Texas for flat rate of $1 for ten minutes. All in all a fairly cheap exercise.

Well!
I am amazed and impressed!
Photos, realtime phone images, now audio!
Jeez, I love techhnology.
Nicely done Adrian, most of the cabbies I get can hardly speak English, much less utilize the power of the Web.

Welcome, Adrian, glad to *hear* you! If you are concerned about long-distance, the BlogRecorder in your Audioblog account works with a simple computer microphone and a web browser. The quality is better than the phone and doesn't rack up the phone bill.
Greetings from California

Thanks Eric. Everything worked just fine first up. Especially liked the quality of the cell phone transmission. I'll be interested to see if there's much difference at work using the hands-free equipment. Also I'll be obtaining the specified microphone for PC use as soon as.
It's kind of weird heaing ones voice in this medium. It will take some practice learning voice modulation, timing, script writing, enviromental conditions, etc. Still it's a buzz and I'm looking forward to much fun.
By the way, aren't you in Texas, or is that where the server is ?

Silicon Valley, California. We have business offices here and in Texas, and servers in Colorado, Texas, and Boston (where the telephone number is). Cheers!
