Not Hot
On a number of occasions over the weekend I witnessed young women shivering for fashion. Sure, on a night out they can expect the protection of a warm conveyance, thence a sweaty venue. But they don’t seem to plan for that freezing space in-between - the inevitable taxi wait and nightclub queue.
Whilst their rugged-up male companions are relaxed and comfortable, the girls with bare arms and legs tremble uncontrollably, wearing only a micro mini for protection against the mid-winter iciness. No matter how ‘hot’ these girls are, they look anything but hot. And that’s being kind.

Do clubs still have cloakrooms?

You should see them in places like Liverpool in the UK. Middle of winter and I was rugged up in t-shirt, shirt, jumper and overcoat, and there were girls walking by in boob-tubes and micro-skirts!

when i was a big clubber, about 5 years ago, i'd never take a coat to put in the cloakroom because i'd inevitably get trashed and forget about it. i lost a lot of coats that way.
at age 28 i no longer club and rarely go to pubs.

Yep the girls are great and I always appreciate having something to look at as I drive past.
The problem comes when they get in my cab and expect me to throw the heater on full tilt while I drive them to the destination. I'm used to the cold pretty much as I'm out in it everynight and I've set the heater to keep the cab comfortable bearing in mind I'm wearing jeans and a shirt. If I crank the heat on I will be asleep before they are half way home.
I know it seems cold (pun intended)hearted of me but it ain't my fault their frozen so the heater stays where it is.

Adrian,
The important thing is that they look nice for us fellas, irrespective of the time of year. You're surely not suggesting that eye-candy only be available for part of the year are you?
That would like telling a dog it can't sniff other dogs bums for part of the year!
Some things just have to happen. Let them be.

Adrian
You've changed!

It's bad now. But remeber, all this will change when global warming kicks in.

Becker, the request for full heating is a worry and passengers don't realise how deadly it can be upon a driver after hours in the saddle.
Paper Boy and Pie Aiko, you finally agree on something! (perverts)
Matt, I take your point, however gerbil worming is history. Now it's climate change.
