Update
A quick update to explain my absence. Currently I'm consumed with images and videos shot on the new phone camera. A refresher course was needed in editing and making movies, compressed and optimised for easy viewing. It ain't easy and bloody time consuming but I hope to post some decent content in the next few days.

Did you take that picture? It's amazing!

A nice shot. I carry around a little Canon and a tiny folding tripod in the centre console, and if I see something on my night shift, I can take a photograph.
If I have time, which isn't all that often.
A month back the Captain Cook waterjet in Lake Burley Griffin was illuminated in pink, a striking image, and as soon as I got a chance, I pulled off to a viewing area, got out the camera and tripod, just in time to see the light turned off and the jet sink down to a trickle and then stop. It was a few seconds after nine PM. Bah!

Sprite, taken on the Nokia N95; resolution 2592 by 1944 for 352 kb. Trimmed plus annoying boardwalk light scrubbed from far right. Click image for better view.
Skyring, seriously thinking about a tripod due the instability of a 120 gram device. Know what you mean; I've just lost some choice footage due to computer problems and it's tough to recapture scenes.

You shot that on a phone? It is so crisp.
BTW, I really enjoy your blog. I particularly love that photo you have of the Anzac Bridge. I think it is one of the most stunning looking bridges in the world.
