I love walking home through Hyde Park in summer, although sometimes the services of an umbrella are required to shield oneself from the 'bombs' dropped by the bats!

Yes, I love the bats - they fly over Hyde Park/Surry Hills every night just on twilight... By the way, the photo of the cafe from two days ago brings back lots of memories... I lived just over the road in Surrey street for years. I had suspected that was Graveyard Barista's cafe from the write-up. Also, I have a friend who's a manager at Fairfax digital, I'll have to pay him out about the lights!! What a con. Keep up the great posts Adrian.

has any one sat on manly taxi rank at night, some of those bombs that hit the cab from the bats in the morton bay fig next to the rank scare the %%$ out of you when they hit the taxi.i wish graveyard was back at the cafe i don't think much of his replacements coffee making skills.i miss his stories also.

I also miss his stories MC.
